Why we sould clean our face ?
Some of you say ... :
- Do I need to cleanse my skin each day?
- As I am using a makeup remover, I don’t need to use a cleanser anymore!
- I cleanse my skin every morning, no need to renew it by the evening…
- I never use makeup, so I am not affected about this new line.
Among the fundamental needs, cleansing your face is maybe the more important one, as it allows to keep a healtheir, younger and more beautiful skin more longer. The face cleansing must be done by mornings AND evenings, and must be considerer separately from makeup removing. Makeup removing is not enough for women who use makeup, as it needs to be followed by a face cleansing.
why cleaning the face by morning? Because even during the night our skin sweats, secretes sebum, and retain some dust from our pillows, our sheets or hair…
By evening, cleanse your skin allows to remove sebum residus, some dust and pollution, and all impurities that avoid the pores respiration while plugging it…
Before anything else, the rôle of the makeup removing step is to remove makeup marks and some impurities that sticks to the makeup all the day long. By the other hand, the role of the cleansing step is to remove dust, pollution, substances secreted by our cells, and moreover some cosmetic residues as for example films formed by our creams, or even dead cells. Consequently, it is fundamental to associate both steps and not to forget one or other in order to preserve the freshness and the health of the skin.
Finally, and as the first beauty gesture, a good face cleansing prepares the skin and favors the penetration and action of the following day and/or night care in order to deliver its best results, and to delay skin ageing as far as possible.
How to define a good cleaner
A good cleaner must to be a genuine car product :
- That respects both the skin physiology and hydrolipidic film : at the surface of the skin: especially if we have a sensitive skin, we must favor cleansing products without sulphate (used to make the cleansers foaming), or that contain less surface active agents or with the most soft among them. The aim is to minimize both skin intolerance and dryness caused by disruption of the hydrolipidic film.
- With high sensoriality that we love to use two times a day : nowadays, it exists a huge diversity of galenics in order to adapt the cleanser to the needs of the customers. Mousse, jelly, cream or even powder, cosmetics are very innovative to make this moment a real cocooning time in our bathrooms!
New ingredients to highlight the naturality
ORGANIC MALLOW FLORAL WATER
The mallow, Malva sylvestris L., is a perrenial plant presenting a floral stem that can be 1,20m high. It presents many purple flowers, characteristics from the Malvacees family. This plant is native from France.
A floral water is obtained by flowers distillation. This Organic mallow floral water is usually used in cosmetics to maintain a healthy, fresh and bright skin look.
Rich in flavonoïds and anthocyanins, the Mallow is also famous for its anti-oxydative properties.
In this cleansing range, we have associated this organic mallow water to an organic soapwort extract*.
ORGANIC SOAPWORT EXTRACT
The soapwort (Saponaria officinalis) is an herbaceaous plant, also called « soap herbs ». It was formerly used by washerwomen and we found it usually near the houses.
The soapwort’s name is coming from the latin word sapo, that means soap, because of its high content in saponin, a natural surface active agent, that gives its foaming and washing properties.

THE PURITY CLEANSING MOUSSE
This airy and lightweight foam has a multifaceted action to beautify your skin day after day. It contains some extra-gentle fruit acids and organic mallow floral water and soapwort extract to cleanse the skin while favoring deads cells and impurities removing from its surface.
Myrtle floral water has been added to limit sebum excess, and visibly tighten the pores and improve the skin irregularities. The skin looks fresher and brighter, and remains comfortable.

THE GENTLE PEELING POWDER
A powder to gently exfoliate the skin. It will promote cell renewal, for soft skin and a fresh complexion.
In the palm of your hand, put a small amount of powder with a few drops of water until you obtain a foam. Gently massage the face with this foam, then rinse.

Are you already aware about the re-usable cotton-pads ?
Bernard Cassière proposes you to forget using your traditionnal cotton pads and replace it by these new re-usable cotton wipes !
Made from 100% of recycled cotton, it is ideal to apply and/or rinse-off our care products. Once used, you can was it at 30° in the washing machine. To use and re-use as much as you want to reduce our cotton consumpsion (and as a result to save the water used for ots production). So make both a gesture for your skin and the planet!
Some advices to go further
The double cleansing way
To improve your skin texture, each evening let’s take few minutes for a double-cleansing routine.
Step 1 : Use an oily make-up remover to emulsify the particles of pollution or the oily particles contained in our foundations and/or creams containing solar filters for example… Rinse-off with water, dry well…
Step 2 : Use a cleansing product such as a mousse or a jelly to complete the cleansing of the skin while rmoving the sebum excess, and some cream residues. Rinse-off with water dry well and then use the lotion adapted to your skin type, for example with the re-usable ecologic cotton pads ;-)
Let's favor the soft formulas
We use to think that if the skin is not rubbed down with aggressive products, it is not enough! It’s a bad stereotype that can have consequences for your skin.
Problem 1 : We unbalance our skin ! … too much rubbing down our skin creates damage on the hydrolipidic film and leads to uncomfort, or even sensitiveness, and can even fast its ageing! It is important to favor soft but efficient formulas, sulphate free and containing soft surface active agents that can intensify this…
Problem 2 : We create new problems... Using a cleanser that is not suitable for our skin can enhance redness, imperfections, dryness, etc… and you will ask your beautician new products to treat these new problems. This is the foundation of a good care routine! A suitable cleanser would avoid you to use too many products…
Do not ignore the benefits of peelings and masks
Usually considered as unnecessary, masks and peelings are essential to garantee you a perfect skin with a fresh and healthy look. And you will discover here that they are also very easy to include in your weekly routine ;-)
Let’s exfoliate for a perfect skin effect :
- The mecanical one, as the Scrubbing cream for example, in which there are grains that ensure the scrubbing effect;
- The chemical one, as the Purity mousse, where extra-gentle natural fruit acids digest the dead cells;
